TICKETS (https://mpk.krakow.pl/en/kmk-tickets): 1-hour ticket costs 8 PLN (1.9 EUR). Make sure to validate the ticket inside the bus/tram! You can buy tickets at ticket machines at some bus stops (e.g. there is one just next to the Kraków Airport bus stop) and in the machines inside the buses, as well as in the apps such as jakdojade.pl. Keep in mind that some ticket machines are cashless. Kraków offers normal (“normalny”) and discounted (“ulgowy”) tickets. Students and PhD students with a valid student ID can purchase discounted fares.

Checking schedules: Google Maps are pretty good at showing estimated times of departure of buses and finding good connections. Apps like mobileMPK and jakdojade.pl are also very good, they include the current position of the bus/tram, and using jakdojade.pl you can buy a ticket as well. Finally, there is also an official bus timetable.

* The TAXI (https://taniataxi.com/krakow/) travel length and cost may depend on the current traffic! The taxi prices are also dependent on the company providing the service and the day time. Please ask for the price estimate before entering the taxi.
