ECMetAC Days 2026 will be organized on November 23-26, 2026 by AGH University of Krakow, Poland (Department of Condensed Matter Physics of the Faculty of Physics and Applied Computer Science).

The primary purpose of ECMetAC Days is to provide comprehensive information on recent results achieved within the ECMetAC actions and to discuss directions for future research.

Contributions will cover research topics related to complex metallic alloys and compounds ranging from basic to application-oriented research:

  • Development of new metallic alloys and compounds
  • High-entropy alloys
  • Materials for energy and quantum materials
  • Materials for catalysis
  • Surfaces of complex metallic alloys
  • Coating technologies
  • Complexity in periodic and aperiodic systems
  • Structure determination, stability
  • Physical, chemical, and mechanical properties

The ECMetAC Days 2026 in Krakow will be preceded by a workshop devoted to the extremely current topic: "Innovative Researcher: Artificial Intelligence and Ethics".

We look forward to meeting you in Kraków,
